This is an amazing opportunity to join a start up business, based in Slough, as a New Business Sales Executive. There will be ample opportunity to develop and mould the position. The start up is part of a larger organisation, so has the security of support, with the potential to expand and evolve.

Initially there will be involvement in the setting up of systems and ensuring IT is ready to go live to market, working closely with the project team. Once live the role will grow into a New Business Sales Executive role. This will require the ability to understand client needs and translate prospect enquiries into secured orders in a B2B environment.


Phase one

To help test and have input on the new IT system, collaborating with the project team to contribute a robust solution and maintaining a continuous improvement ethos

Be part of the team setting up and implementing a new system that will enable the business to take a new lease company to market

Phase two

Manage all leads, make contact with customers and complete initial dialogue and fact find

Have an effective 'follow up' and 'follow through' to conclusion process for all enquires

Convert vehicle enquiries into contract hire orders to achieve company targets

Liaise with dealers as appropriate

Deliver outstanding customer service in line with companies 'Secure', 'keep' and 'nurture' approach to customer growth and retention mantra

Capture anonymised and relevant data during the sales process so that we effectively monitor our position with the leasing space

Be able to manage any complaints making sure to be compliant, empathetic and effective in line with company complaints policy and procedure

The position is based in Slough, working for a Leasing, Contract Hire organisation.

Key Skills/Experience

  • Previous Sales experience
  • Previous sales experience in the automotive sector, and experience on Contract Hire would be ideal.
  • Ability to commute to Slough
  • Excellent communication skills, along with strong objection handling experience
