12 Month Contract - Norwich - PAYE Contract

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Drilling Interface Team working closely with the Operations department. With a strong COMOPS background, the successful individual will be responsible for providing support for drilling activities and management of change.

This role operates a working pattern of Monday to Friday and whilst this role is based in Norwich there will be a requirement to travel offshore occasionally.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Stand-in/assist Rig Interface Team Lead
  • Liaise with rig owners and PUK marine dept. on rig move planning and preparations
  • Initiate PeMOC process for planned interface activities and ensure activities are documented via the management of change process and engage with the relevant technical authorities on interface proposals and ensure appropriate reviews are carried out
  • Liaise with vendors for interface support requirements
  • Provide technical assistance where applicable & assist with the planning & co-ordination of barge to asset interface/de-interface work packs and engage with relevant discipline engineers/technicians and/or vendors for support as required
  • Create SIMOPS Matrices for planned interfaces and ensure review process held with relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise with Operational department during interface planning process and define requirements for SIMOPs
  • Liaise with Technical Safety Engineers with regards well blow out consequence reports in relation to planned interfaces between barge & Assets
  • Attend relevant interface and project meetings as required
  • Arrange for equipment and materials as required for interface purposes
  • Liaise with logistics personnel during interface planning & execution to ensure efficiency
  • Arrange for resources as required to assist with interface activities and liaise with vendors accordingly
  • Support the offshore combined operations team as required
  • Review QHSE Interface documentation as required
  • Arrange IVB as/when required for interface verification
Qualifications & Experience:
  • OOE or similar with 5+ years offshore experience
  • Electrical or Instrumentation biased (preferred but not essential)
  • Experienced in Offshore Combined Operations between Jack-Up Barges and Production Assets
  • Familiar with MOC process
  • Familiar with HAZID /ENVID Process
  • Project management experience (not essential)
