Non stop have partnered with a local authority in the north west to appoint a dedicated Qualified Social Worker for a Child Sexual Exploitation Team. £38-40PH Flexible working Responsibilities: 1. Lead in the developing and embedding Contextual Safeguarding by working collaborating and effectively with members of the senior management team, developing practice and service improvement across the Council and with partners. 2. Promote and advise on effective contextual safeguarding approaches, keeping up to date with research developments and ensuring social workers, managers and senior managers are able to utilise available research effectively. 3. Lead the implementation of a Contextual Safeguarding framework, including promoting and supporting the use of the Vulnerable Adolescents Risk Assessment, and piloting, evaluating and embedding and other tools such as peer mapping and safety mapping 4. Chair complex strategy meetings and peer group mapping involving multiple young people where there are concerns regarding extra-familial harm, and to track and monitor any actions. Chair child protection conferences depending on service demand. 5. Provide support to practitioners, managers and multi-agency professionals with complex,high-risk adolescent cases as appropriate, including offering case consultations and reflective supervision. Support and challenge decision-making where there are concerns regarding extra-familial harm. 6. Support team managers to develop contextual safeguarding best practice in multi-agency strategy meetings and practice within their teams. 7. Work closely with the Vulnerable Adolescent Analyst, having oversight of young people where there are concerns regarding extra-familial harm, quality assuring practice and actively offering case consultations and support to teams and encourage referrals to other services. 8. Drive and proactively support referrals multi-agency panels including active participation and attendance at daily Integrated Risk Management Meeting This is a highly popular role, which is likely to fill quickly so don't delay to apply.
