We have an opportunity for an experienced recruitment consultant to help build and shape our Permanent Recruitment team. If you are looking to grow in your career, then this position provides scope to progress into a leadership role! Due to opening a brand-new West Midlands branch, we are now looking to hire a permanent recruitment consultant that can manage and oversee a variety of skilled vacancies/ hiring requirements. Working from our clean and modern office environment, you would be joining a recruitment agency that has expanded from 4 employees to - all within the space of 3 years. ROLE OUTLINED: In this role you will be registering and supporting skilled job seekers and helping them secure careers within the engineering & manufacturing sectors. As the recruitment team grows, so will your job role! The position would suit someone who enjoys working within a small but growing environment, where opinions are listened to, and ideas are shared. WORK HOURS: Mon - Thursday: (08.30am - 4.30pm) Friday's: (3.30pm finish) ROLE OUTLINED: Working in our permanent recruitment team your focus will be on matching skilled workers to our available vacancies. You will be establishing & developing relationships, sourcing unrecognized opportunities for job seekers and managing client/ company requirements and accounts. Our permanent recruitment consultants typically work on higher level vacancies - these positions have salaries above £25,000 per annum. The searches are often more detailed and can range from anything such as maintenance engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, H+S managers and much more. DAILY DUTIES: Registering skilled manufacturing and engineering workers via telephone and email Matching skilled workers to relevant live vacancies and also passive opportunities Providing quotations and negotiating terms with companies (as you get more advanced) General all-round customer service - field and office-based activities Maintaining and recording all relevant information onto our CRM database system Central point for clients and being available to answer client and candidate queries within reasonable work hoursPERSON SPECIFICATION: Well organised with a drive to succeed Someone who enjoys challenges and is not afraid to pick up the phone Confident in meeting decision makers face to face Ability to write high quality emails and job descriptions Able to use Microsoft word, software systems and have good grammar Confident in having difficult conversations when and where required Passionate about service, self-motivated and wants to progress and learnCOMPANY BENEFITS: Working at our brand-new office that provides you with an abundance of scope to progress and advance your career Competitive salary subject to experience Regular salary reviews Good work hours with an early Friday finish (With the pub located 2 mins down the road!)
