Assistant (m/f/d) to the GlobalFoundries VP EMEA Sales

Job profile

We are looking for a team assistant (50 % part-time) located in our Munich Office, supporting our VP and Head of EMEA Sales.

You will provide excellent administrative support to our EMEA VP Sales and will be primarily responsible for all organizational and administrative issues for our Munich office as well as for our Europe Sales Region. Business language will be English and German.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to EMEA VP and the Team
  • Arrange business travel, coordinate meetings, support agenda management and expense tracking, and prepare presentations and departmental reports
  • Support office administration (coordination of landlord activities, Purchase Order creation/tracking, invoice handling, regular mail, FedEx, office supplies etc.)
  • Independent and forward-looking office organization; This includes the coordination of all appointments, the organization of meetings and travel, the preparation of reports and presentations as well as the follow-up of topics for the team to be supervised - also in English
  • Independently identifies issues and takes responsibility
  • Support of customer visits
  • In addition, you will support the other team members with administrative tasks
Required qualifications
  • You have successfully completed your commercial training and have some professional experience as an assistant in a similar role.
  • You have an excellent command of the MS Office world (especially Microsoft Office) as well as the confident use of common Office applications.
  • You speak German and also have a very good command of written and spoken English.
  • In addition to an independent and structured way of working, you have excellent communication skills.
  • Your reliable and organized way of working distinguishes you, as well as your organizational talent and your ability to work in a team.
  • It is no problem for you to handle several processes in parallel and to set priorities with confidence.
  • The latest office communication tools are part of your everyday life.
  • You are used to mastering ad hoc requirements spontaneously and positively.
