Administrator - Within Finance Department

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established family-run property management and development company based in Broomhill Sheffield. The role will be based in the finance department but includes general office administration as well.

The Role will include the following, alongside other office-based tasks as allocated from time to time:


" Checking and inputting supplier invoices

" Work closely with letting and property management departments to produce timely client accounts

" Producing insurance and rent demands

" Administration support for the rest of the team

" Performing weekly bank reconciliation

" Managing utility accounts

" Credit control

" Liaising with any tenant and/or suppliers to maintain relationships and deal with any queries

The ideal candidate:

" Good Communication and Customer Service skills both verbal and written

" Have strong IT skills.

" Prepared to work in a standalone role

" Some finance/accounts exp would be desirable but not essential

" Ability to work to deadlines, and manage any pressures involved

" Prepared to be hands-on and have good attention to detail

Full Time

Salary - £21- 23k

Applicants will have a good working knowledge of IT. Working as part of a small team there may be the requirement to support with other tasks depending on workloads, so a 'muck in' attitude is important. For this role accuracy is key, my client would like the successful candidate to display a high level of accuracy in their work and to be able to pick up tasks quickly along with possessing good time management skills.
